Mitchell Charlesworth grows portfolio with triple client win

Mitchell Charlesworth, the North West accountancy firm, has expanded its professional services portfolio after securing three new clients.

The firm has been appointed by legal services companies CRS Law Limited and DTM Legal LLP, as well as property agency BlueSky Invest Limited, to provide various services.

Mike Buxton, a manager with Mitchell Charlesworth, has said he believes the new client wins highlight the firm’s ambition to grow in the niche legal sector.

Mike said: “Each of these client wins has presented us with a different set of challenges. For DTM Legal we are providing the full suite of accountancy services, including accounts preparation and partnership and personal tax returns and assisting and advising on strategic financial matters.

“We will also be completing the technical report for DTM required to audit their compliance with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and to be submitted to the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority.”

He added: “CRS Law is a new business which we have supported via business plans, SRA application forms, business formation and professional indemnity insurance. Essentially, we provided everything they needed to create the platform for the business to go into the market.

“For Blue Sky Invest Limited we have provided support with accounts, monthly accounts, corporation tax, personal tax for shareholders, business valuations for shareholders and quarterly VAT returns.”

As one of the North West’s largest independent chartered accountancy companies, Mitchell Charlesworth has offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Widnes and Chester.
