Middlesbrough’s Datum360 extends Asian Pacific influence with Malaysian partnerships

Middlesbrough-headquartered Datum360 has partnered with Malaysian-based companies EDMS Consultants Sdn Bhd and Horizon 3 Sdn Bhd, an expansion to grow the business further in the Asia Pacific region.

The venture will enable sustainable growth with the Malaysian companies providing Datum360’s engineering management solutions to oil and gas players on a localised level.

Speaking about the partnership, Steve Wilson, CEO and Co-founder of Datum360 said: “This provides an excellent opportunity for our new partners to significantly expand their services by offering its clients our software as a service - which is proven to deliver fast, accurate and reliable engineering information.

“The failure for companies to implement such a robust system to Datum360’s unique standards can lead to major problems for asset intensive programmes. We are enabling EDMS Consultants and Horizon 3 to provide our software adding value to their already comprehensive services allowing oil and gas owner operators in Malaysia to significantly reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.”

The growing Malaysian companies have both gained a reputation in the industry for providing asset integrity and content management solutions and services that have improved business processes whilst also managing risks for clients they work closely with.

Through partnering with companies of EDMS and Horizon 3’s calibre, Datum360 now has a platform to offer its advanced data management solutions through highly reputable providers.

Steve added: “We are delighted to be partnering with companies who, through their wealth of experience, combined with a proven track record has made them key players in the industry.

“Both companies have an in-depth understanding of Datum360’s offering and the benefits of our leading software. Speed, reliability and accuracy of engineering information for asset intensive programmes is of great importance to all partners who champion our software and who place a key focus on delivering engineering information as it should be.”

Datum360 reported a turnover of £1.8m this year with a 190% increase in the last three years in terms of its compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for SaaS subscriptions. The business is set to continue expanding in the next year and the company believes a growing proportion of business will be driven from sales in both Asia Pacific and the Americas.
