Relocation firm Move Angels grows with new US partnership

After expanding across the North West last month, relocation firm Move Angels has grown further with the introduction of a new service for Brits seeking to buy or rent homes in the US.

The entrepreneurs behind the Cheshire-based company, Stephanie Goldstone and Jenny Forshaw, have partnered up with realtor Elissa Lithman of Florida-based SoBe British Realty to launch the new transatlantic service.

Operating alongside SoBe British Realty, Move Angels will work to help British clients by shortlisting potential homes in the US, organising inspections and assisting in the moving process, among other services.

Move Angels’ director, Jenny, called the expansion a “natural progression” for the Altrincham-headquartered firm.

She explained: “Our clients in the UK are often looking for a holiday rental in the USA over the summer months, and we were asked many, many times this year for recommendations.

“We saw the potential to develop this part of the business and I took a trip to Miami house hunting in August.”

Jenny added: “Working closely with an experienced US-based realtor such as Elissa Lithman, we were able to secure a number of exclusive house viewings for our clients.

“The success this year has given us the foundations upon which to make this a more formal and permanent part of our services.”

Discussing the added service, co-director Stephanie said the firm sees business opportunities emerging in other areas besides holiday rentals.

Stephanie commented: “We have been house hunting in the USA and Europe for clients looking to buy second homes too.”

“In addition, we work closely with a number of corporate businesses that have operations in the US as well as UK, so the partnership with Elissa allows us to offer a more comprehensive service to employees relocating Stateside.

She continued: “It’s a very exciting progression for us.”
