Birchall Blackburn Law backs grass-roots gymnastics
The Morecambe branch of law firm Birchall Blackburn Law has offered financial support to a Lancaster gymnastics club, allowing the facility to acquire new equipment.
The company, which has offices across the North West, including Manchester, Southport and Preston, handed the City of Lancaster Gymnastics Club a cheque of £586 to be used to purchase a new vaulting table and supporting blocks.
Hayley Carter-Steele, Birchall Blackburn Law’s conveyancing executive, said: “Gymnastics is a fantastic sport that’s inclusive for all and the work carried out by the City of Lancaster Gymnastics Club is instrumental in getting young children involved in competitive sport.
“Birchall Blackburn Law is committed to backing worthy initiatives and clubs at the heart of the local communities we serve, so it’s pleasing to extend a hand and pledge our support to the team.”
The manager at the gymnastics club, Marie Gardner, said the new equipment is “indispensable” in allowing the facility’s gymnasts to train safely.
She said: “With ever increasing costs, clubs really welcome extra support, so we’re thrilled to have Birchall Blackburn Law’s backing.
“Without the helping hand of local firms we simply wouldn’t be able to continue the great work we do.”
