Liverpool Innovation Park hits new letting milestone
Liverpool Innovation Park has let more than 51,000 sq ft of space since June last year after seeing a recent influx of 10 new tenants.
The lettings, secured by the Liverpool office of real estate firm CBRE, include a five-year lease on a 1,400 sq ft unit with Merseyside security firm Pro-Team Facilities Management Limited.
Other occupiers include recruitment company Major Recruitment Ltd, content agency Tecmark Limited and events and marketing firm Ocean Media Ltd.
Recently completed investment in the park saw redundant space removed, new development plots created and the site’s parking capacity increased.
David Tyson, a Liverpool-based senior surveyor of asset services for CBRE, said: “The park has enjoyed recent lettings success from smaller occupiers such as startups and small businesses who are attracted to the all-inclusive nature of the tenancies.
“The investment into the park, both physically and in terms of occupier services, has ensured the continued retention of occupiers and the attraction of new ones.”
He added: “This development has reaped the benefits of a dedicated team working to maximise its potential and we are delighted with how well it is being received.”
As part of the investment, a number of tenant services and amenities have been introduced, including a Bean coffee shop, which recently expanded with a new coffee house and cocktail bar in central Liverpool.
Liverpool Innovation Park is owned by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
Carol Sutton, a senior area manager at HCA, commented: “We are delighted that our investment strategy for Liverpool Innovation Park is paying dividends.
“We are pleased to be able to support the growth and development of businesses of all sizes at the Park and as lettings continue to grow, we are pressing ahead with further investment in newly refurbished small suites in the coming months.”
