Elevation Recruitment sponsor Hull & Humber’s IChemE Dinner

The Hull and Humber chemical engineering community are being invited to discuss the challenges and successes of the profession, at an annual event hosted by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) - taking place next month.

Held 12 November at The Guildhall, Hull, the black tie dinner will welcome more than 100 regional leaders in chemical engineering. President of IChemE, Andrew Jamieson OBE, will be the event’s guest speaker.

Leading the discussion on ‘Challenges for oil and gas projects in a low price environment, with specific reference to LNG’, Jamieson - an IChemE Fellow and Chartered Engineer - spent over thirty years in the oil and gas industry. He was honoured with an OBE in 2006, for services to British businesses and sustainable development in Nigeria.

The event is sponsored by leading recruitment experts Elevation Recruitment Group’s specialist engineering and manufacturing team, which in the last 12 months has placed more than twenty senior chemical engineers in the Hull and Humber region.

The dinner is an opportunity for the region’s most influential chemical engineering representatives to discuss specific topics - including identifying and retaining talent.
