Leeds engineering firm secures new premises with £122k loan
Leeds-based DC Precision Engineering Ltd has invested in new premises after securing a £122k property loan and working capital funding package from new banking partner, The Royal Bank of Scotland.
The new 3,000 sq ft premises, based at Upper Westland Square in Leeds, will provide the capacity to grow the business.
The manufacturing floor consists of seven milling and turning machines, which each produce bespoke components for a broad range of industries across the UK, including oil and gas, petroleum and textiles.
Established in 2009 by Yorkshire businessmen, Craig Tranmer and David Waite, the duo have utilised their 25 years combined experience in the industry to build up the business that now boasts a £300k turnover.
Craig Tranmer, director of DC Precision Engineering Ltd, said: “We chose our new premises as they were equipped with everything we were looking for in terms of space and facilities on site. This has eased the process of moving in and has allowed us to become fully operational from day one.
“We couldn’t be more delighted with The Royal Bank of Scotland’s support. As a new banking partner they have been positive to deal with from the outset and provided the right level of personal support you require when looking for this type of investment. We are confident we can grow the business further now we have the extra capacity to take on more clients and much needed storage.”
Juven Nalson, relationship manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland, added: “We welcome DC Precision Engineering to the bank and pleased we could help them facilitate their next move, which will enhance their business. It has been a pleasure getting to know Craig and David and we look forward to seeing what opportunities our investment will bring.”
