MP Motor Company expands premises to drive sales growth
Lancashire car retailer MP Motor Company Ltd is targeting growth after expanding its premises with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) funding.
The Westhoughton-based firm used the cash to expand its existing premises on Manchester Road by acquiring adjacent land, increasing its car capacity from 200 to 300.
MP Motor Company’s general manager, Nigel Lynch, said: “We are an established family business and our success has been built on customer satisfaction and providing real value for money.
“This acquisition of additional land is a significant move for the business because it represents real growth as our quantities increase and we are very grateful for the bank’s support.”
Founded in 2007 with a 40-car site, the company plans to extend its sales team in the future.
RBS senior relationship manager Gavin Elmes said: “I am pleased we can support local companies like MP Motor Company Ltd who are seeking to make improvements to their business.
“They are a well established and respected motor retailer and I am delighted to support this latest stage of their growth.”
He added: “The acquisition of the site on Manchester Road is a great investment for the future of this business and sees them deliver an additional 100 cars to market.”
