Harrison Drury works with Cuffe and Taylor on Rod Stewart tour
A commercial law firm based in Preston has been appointed to provide legal support for the organisers of sing-songwriter Rod Stewart’s 2016 UK tour.
Harrison Drury advised Cuffe and Taylor, a concert promotion and event management firm, on its legal agreements with music venues and its contract with the British rock star.
David Edwards, an associate solicitor at Harrison Drury, said: “Cuffe and Taylor has continued to secure a number of deals to promote the performances of some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry.
“It’s great to be providing specialist legal advice to help Cuffe and Taylor cement its relationship with Rod Stewart, as well as helping the firm clinch a new exciting deal which will help stage big name acts at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.”
Harrison Drury has previously advised Cuffe and Taylor on a number of deals, including a five-year contract with Scarborough Open Air Theatre, the largest open-air theatre in Europe.
As part of his Hits tour, Rod Stewart will hold eight outdoor concerts in June next year at venues across the UK.
