Booming business set to increase workforce

A rapidly growing outsourcing company is set to create up to 50 new job roles in the New Year.

Inspired Outsourcing is on the hunt for additional outbound call agents at its contact centre in Cuthbert House in Newcastle to work on its new and existing client base working with brands across telecommunications, future planning services and utilities.

The announcement comes only a month after its recruitment of 30 new staff from management to call centre agents and will boost the workforce by more than a quarter to its existing 205-strong team.

Head of operations Kevin Hutchinson believes the recruitment drive will be a welcome boost to the region’s economy after an unemployment rate of 8.1% - the highest figure for any region of the country was reported in autumn of this year.

He said: “With our existing client base and strong team, additional high calibre staff will help to strengthen our growing business.

“Along with our continued commitment to our clients, we also offer career paths for our staff and invest heavily into their training and development within the company 90% of our existing management team have been promoted internally.

“We are hoping to attract more enthusiastic candidates as we offer full in-house training both in the classroom then a 12-week development programme in our ‘academy’. Our ethos is a little different to other contact centres, we believe experience can be overrated and we look for big personalities with a can do attitude.”

The business, which was established in 2013, has a turnover of £4.7million and is set to meet its £6million target by the end of 2016.

Director Paul Crampsey added: “This recruitment drive is the latest effort to ensure we continue to have a quality team to support our rapidly growing business. Since launching the business in 2013, Inspired Outsourcing has grown from 40 staff to 205. We are looking forward to the next stage of our growth.”

Inspired Outsourcing is situated on the 5th floor of Cuthbert house in Newcastle.
