Jefferies Solicitors Helps Local Charity To Celebrate Christmas

JEFFERIES SOLICITORS HELPS LOCAL CHARITY TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS

Altrincham-based Jefferies Solicitors celebrated Christmas early this year, by taking part in an event with local charity, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).

A team from the law firm dressed in festive costumes to entertain the children and raise money for the charity. Managing director, Michael Jefferies, was one of the main attractions dressed as Santa Claus.

Part of the Christmas Party Programme, the day was one of a series of events at the farm leading up to the big day. Each year the charity provides Christmas parties to groups of terminally ill, disabled or disadvantaged children at their Cheshire base.

This year CAFT aimed to provide 25 parties for children across the North West and will finish by hosting the final party on the 18th December. The charity has provided fun days and entertainment for over 350 children to date through its voluntary-lead programmes.

The children on the day enjoyed Santa’s grotto, a Christmas dinner, presents and an 11ft inflatable snow globe. With reindeer Rudolph and Blitzen at the party, the children were also invited to pet and feed the animals.

CAFT is one of Jefferies Solicitors’ chosen charities and the team has been committed to fundraising on its behalf for several years.

Michael Jefferies comments: “We have been involved with CAFT for many years and it’s a tradition to help out at the annual Christmas party. It really means a lot to the children, and for some, it’s their first visit to see Father Christmas. It is always a special day for everyone, and this year was no exception. We’re proud to be helping such an important cause.”

CAFT was established in 1985 by Founding Patron Tim Grundy. It is based in the grounds of a beautiful 17th Century Farmhouse in Millington, Cheshire and offers free adventure breaks and activities to children who are disadvantaged by illness, disability and poverty.
