Reappt Selected as UK Government G-Cloud Supplier
Available on IBM Bluemix, Reappt helps organisations develop event-driven applications faster with lower costs and reduced risks
Push Technology has today announced that Reappt, the only enterprise-grade, Internet Messaging service delivered via IBM Bluemix, has been accepted into G-Cloud 7, the latest iteration of the UK Government’s cloud computing framework. Operated by the Crown Commercial Service, G-Cloud enables public sector bodies to easily and cost-effectively procure services in a number of different cloud technology categories.
Reappt tackles the hard problems—the complexity of integrating government systems, the challenges and threats of the Internet, the fragmentation of mobile devices, and more—to stream data at extreme scale and speed to and from millions of concurrent connections in milliseconds. Reappt is enterprise proven, incorporating the company’s specialised knowledge in the areas of data integration, distribution, caching, and optimisation. Push Technology’s Internet Messaging platform is deployed by many of the world’s largest organisations.
Lee Cottle, Director at Push Technology commented, “The UK government is calling for more digital transparency, and a focus on becoming an open data culture that enables better decisions on where to spend money, use technology and empower users of public services. With Reappt from Push Technology, organisations throughout national and local government now have the ability to understand data quickly and distribute it at scale to constituents, employees and public services across the Internet.”
Consumers expect their government services to offer rich, engaging digital experiences on the device of their choice in real-time, 24/7. At the heart of delivering those experiences is data—data is the make or break for any app. Reappt helps overcome the challenges of distributing this data via the Internet and deliver the digital services required to engage with the public and facilitate inter-agency communication.
