Fit-out contractor Workspace targets growth with recruitment drive
North West fit-out firm Workspace Design & Build has increased its staff count by 60%.
The last six weeks have seen the company welcome six new employees at its base of operations in Manchester.
Workspace MD Russell Davis said: “We have almost doubled our headcount in the past six months. We now employ 16 full-time staff in total which is great.
“It’s important to mention that we are bringing in well-known people within the industry that we work in.”
He added: “It will help us further progress our team and work with contracts that we have already won.”
Most recently, the firm hired John Vipond as its new contracts manager and Mike Likeman as site manager, with an administrator, Emma Farrell, starting this month.
2015 saw Workspace invest in a business development team and relocate to Manchester One, where it worked alongside property firm Bruntwood to revamp the 21st floor.
