Clough & Willis launches new Bolton office
North West law firm Clough & Willis has expanded with the launch of a base in Bolton.
The Bury firm’s new office on Market Street will offer a number of services, including family law, employment, and commercial and residential property.
The decision to expand into Bolton came after the senior team at Clough & Willis was approached by David Wells of the Wells Law Partnership, a Bolton company that stopped trading in September 2015 when David retired.
Following negotiations, Clough & Willis secured the lease of the former Wells Law Partnership property and agreed to store, with each client’s individual consent, wills, deeds and any old files. Clough & Willis also agreed to discuss any ongoing matters with clients.
The firm’s managing partner, Shefali Talukdar, said: “We have been thinking about opening a full-time office in Bolton for a number of years as many of our clients are from the town and its surrounding areas.
“We knew it would be make good business sense, but we wanted to make sure the timing was right.”
She added: “This is an exciting step for the firm and I’m sure it will really help us to further establish the Clough & Willis name across the region.”
