Home shopping firm N Brown Group reports sales and revenue growth
Home shopping business N Brown Group achieved online sales and revenue growth in the 18 weeks to January 2.
The Manchester-headquartered firm, which operates plus-sized fashion brands Jacamo and Simply Be, achieved group revenue growth of 4.1% during the third quarter of its current financial year.
Simply Be saw marked growth in the US, where it achieved year-on-year turnover growth of 20% on a constant-currency basis.
N Brown Group’s CEO, Angela Spindler, said: “After the well-documented difficult start to the season for our sector, our more agile approach enabled us to trade the business well and we delivered particularly good results over the cyber weekend and in the weeks that followed.
“This was driven by our improved product offering, which continues to gain traction with customers, together with our new digital marketing initiatives.”
The company’s online sales increased by 13% during the period, with Angela attributing the growth to its “digital-first strategy”.
She continued: “We are on track to meet full year expectations, and we move into 2016 with real energy and confidence in our future.”
