Yorkshire law firm expands into new Leeds city centre HQ

A Yorkshire law firm, which has rapidly expanded since launching two years ago, has completed a strategic move of its head office to a larger Leeds city centre location.

Founded by business lawyer and mediator Rashmi Dubé, Legatus Law now occupies a modern 1046 sq ft office space at Kings House on King Street, Leeds, which is double the size of its previous office in the city centre.

Legatus Law is made up of a team of expert business lawyers for SMEs and specialises in shareholder disputes, management buyouts and technology. Since launching the firm in 2013, Legatus has also opened a base in the City of London.

Legatus’ new head office at Kings House in Leeds is within walking distance to Leeds Railway Station and is in close proximity to the A58(M).

The period building arranged over four floors provides office accommodation throughout and is home to a number of established firms and organisations.

Speaking about the firm’s rapid growth, founder Rashmi said: “It’s a very exciting time for Legatus as we continue to grow and cement our foundations in Leeds. After two years in business we needed to move to new premises to allow for our continued expansion and by doubling the size of office space we are able to do that.

“We have plans in place to further expand our team over the next few months which will allow us to provide bespoke, expert advice to businesses. We’re now looking forward to welcoming them to our brand new headquarters and working with them in 2016.”
