Napthens drives brand profile with pro golfer sponsorship
North West law firm Napthens has been revealed as an official sponsor of professional golfer Adam McCabe.
The 12-month agreement will see Napthens, which has offices across Lancashire and Cumbria, supporting Adam as he competes in a number of UK and international competitions.
As a class-A PGA golfer, Adam will participate in the PGA Europro Tour, the 1836 Tour and the Gecko Pro Tour, among others. He will also enter the qualifying stages for the Open Championship this June.
Napthens’ chief executive, John Whittingslow, said: “As part of our continued expansion into the leisure sector, we believe it is vital to support people wishing to develop their talent in this arena.
“Adam fits perfectly with that concept, our values as a business and our desire to be successful in our respective fields.”
He added: “Our partnership will help him to develop as a sports professional while bringing the Napthens brand into contact with potential new clients and new markets.”
Commenting on the deal, Adam said that without sponsors such as Napthens, he would not be able to pursue his dream of competing at the highest level.
He continued: “Ever since I picked up a golf club at 12 my progression has been due to people identifying my abilities and having the faith in me as a sports professional.
“This partnership gives me the ability to access additional expert coaching which will increase my performance and benefit my game.”
Adam concluded: “Napthens’ support is vital and I’m grateful for the firm’s investment in me and look forward to being their ambassador throughout the year.”
