Oxford Biolabs’ Development Helps Support Natural Hair Pigmentation

Greying hair is one of the biggest ageing complaints. One study to determine the factors associated with looking older demonstrated that greying of the hair is related to predictably looking older. According to Transparency Market Research, the global anti-ageing market is poised for a compounded annual growth rate of 7.8% between 2013 and 2019 and is predicted to be worth US$191.7 billion by 2019.

Recognising that premature ageing is a big concern for many people, a group of scientists at Oxford Biolabs has developed a product that can help to control hair ageing. Its active ingredients can help maintain natural hair pigmentation. Melaniq® Food Supplement for Hair Pigmentation is the first of Oxford Biolabs’ products to address hair pigmentation, which has recently debuted on the global market. The scientific research underlying the product will ensure a safe and effective solution to the nourishment of greying hair.

The process of greying is determined by various factors, including genetics, environment, stress, poor diet, gender, ethnicity and geographical origin. Usually starting greying in their thirties, 74% of men and women go significantly grey between the ages of 45 and 65. Most of them would like to maintain their natural colour, removing the need for repeated hair colouring, making them look and feel younger, and therefore improving their quality of life.
