Data Privacy Day – 28 January

Russell Richardson have yet again committed to support International Data Privacy Day (DPD) this January 28th as a Data Privacy Day Champion.

Held annually on January 28th DPD is an international effort to create awareness about the importance of privacy and protecting personal information. As a DPD Champion, Russell Richardson recognises and supports the principle that organisations, businesses and government all share the responsibility of being conscientious stewards of information by respecting privacy, safeguarding data and enabling trust.

This is the second year that Russell Richardson have supported Data Privacy Day as Champions with the goal of improving consumer and business consciousness when it comes to being privacy aware.

“Data Privacy Day is a great international effort that we are pleased to be able to get involved with,” said Jonathan Richardson, managing director at Russell Richardson. “We champion the DPD principles all year round but welcome the opportunity to put data protection in the spotlight and get people thinking and talking about how they handle data and privacy.”
