UK-wide recruitment drive sees HomeServe create 31 North West jobs
Home repairs and emergency insurance firm HomeServe plans to hire 31 engineers in the North West as part of a national recruitment drive.
The West Midlands-headquartered firm is creating 160 jobs across the UK in a bid to strengthen its network of gas and pipe engineers.
As it seeks to recruit in the North West, HomeServe will target the Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester, Bolton, Blackpool, Lancaster, Preston, Blackburn, Wigan and Crewe areas.
The expansion follows the firm’s acquisition of Nottingham-based Home Energy Services’ gas division, which gave HomeServe a 600-strong network of plumbing, heating and drainage engineers.
The company’s CEO, Martin Bennett, said: “Now we are looking to grow that network with over 160 jobs available to increase our engineer coverage across the UK and support our goal of delivering truly effortless service to our customers.”
