Electroserv+ to create 10 jobs after relocating to Macclesfield
Electroserv Temperature Control & Sensors Limited (Electroserv+) has moved to a new 3,000 sq ft site at Lyme Green Business Park, Macclesfield, to accommodate its growth plans.
The company, which distributes industrial process measurement and control equipment, plans to create 10 jobs over the next 12 months.
Electroserv+ acquired the property with a six-figure commercial loan from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
Bosses at Electroserv+, which was purchased by Manchester-based engineering services firm Field & Black Limited in 2013, have predicted growth of at least 30% for the coming year after securing a string of new engineering and distribution contracts.
Roger Marsden, Electroserv’s financial director, said: “I am really excited about the new site and it is great to be finally in and operating from there.
“The building is much larger than our previous home on Short Street and has provided us with lots more space for warehousing and office facilities.”
Since 2013, Electroserv+ has seen its turnover leap by 140%, growing from £500k to £1.2m.
Roger continued: “The funding we have received from Royal Bank of Scotland to help us with the acquisition of the property has been excellent.
“We first worked with the bank in 2013 when they funded our acquisition of Electroserv+ and I am thrilled with the ongoing support we continue to receive which is helping us to develop the business.”
The new Macclesfield premises include a workshop and calibration laboratory, in addition to added warehousing space and offices.
RBS relationship manager Simon Parkinson said he is pleased to have supported the growth drive at Electroserv+.
Speaking further, he commented: “The business has an excellent reputation and the new premises will provide plenty of space that the company needs as it continues to grow.”
