Taylor&Emmet joins Support Dogs' pack

Staff at Sheffield solicitors, Taylor&Emmet LLP, are going barking mad for this year’s annual charity.

The firm is pledging its backing during 2016 to Support Dogs, which provides, trains and supports specialist assistance dogs for those with autism, epilepsy and physical disability.

Taylor&Emmet will be organising a series of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness of its chosen charity. The team kicked off with a dress down day in January and a raffle at its annual dinner, raising £257 to date.

Last year, Taylor&Emmet fundraised for Rain Rescue, donating £2,000 in December to help the animal shelter continue saving the lives of South Yorkshire’s abandoned dogs and cats. It has run its annual charity initiative for a number of years, supporting a wide range of causes, from local hospice, St Luke’s to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Claire Fletcher, Taylor&Emmet’s head of marketing and communications, said: “Support Dogs is a very special charity, working across Yorkshire to increase independence and quality of life for people with various medical conditions. It has really captured the hearts and imaginations of my colleagues and we are looking forward to throwing ourselves into another year of crazy challenges and events to raise as much money as possible.”
