Planning Success at Oldham for Galliford Try
NJL Consulting is pleased to announce that planning permission has been secured for 54 dwellings at the former St. Augustine’s School site in Oldham on behalf of our clients Linden Homes, which is the residential arm of Galliford Try.
NJL coordinated a public consultation event, prepared a Planning Statement in-house and submitted the planning application to Oldham Council. Close liaison with the project team and the Council then took place, which helped to ensure that the planning permission will allow Galliford Try to start the development onsite without delay.
The proposals will deliver much needed family homes within the area and bring a vacant brownfield site back into use. This was recognised by Committee Members last night who voted unanimously to approve the planning application.
