Qubic expands senior team with Associate Director appointment
Accountancy and tax firm Qubic Tax has recruited Associate Director Nick Stormont in a business development role to manage its growing portfolio of advisers and clients.
Qubic, a national firm of chartered accountants with offices in London and Newcastle, specialises in providing tax advice to SME’s, high net worth clients and families throughout the UK.
Now in its ninth year of business with over 30 staff, Qubic is pleased to welcome Nick Stormont as Associate Director to further strengthen its business development team.
Mr Stormont has over 12 years’ experience in the finance sector, with much of this time spent advising high net worth clients on pensions and trusts and the related tax aspects.
He said: “A large number of Qubic’s clients are referred from other professionals, including accountants, independent financial advisors and solicitors, whose clients require more value added solutions than just traditional accountancy advice. Being able to work alongside other professionals means we are able to offer clients tax advice that they really appreciate.”
His role will be to develop Qubic’s advisory and client portfolio, ensuring that Qubic’s offerings are at the forefront of people’s minds when it comes to expert tax and trust advice.
Mr Stormont will be working out of Qubic’s London office at 30 St Mary Axe (the Gherkin) to develop Qubic’s national coverage in the South East, meeting with both advisors and their clients to advise on tax planning tailored to their specific needs.
Qubic Tax director David Graham said: “The appointment of Nick in a business development based role supports our recruitment drive and ensures we can focus on the growth of our tax advisory and trustee services, as well as looking after our valued existing client relationships. Nick’s experience in the tax and trust sector will also serve to strengthen our service offerings.”
