Taylor&Emmet has tail wagging time at Crufts
Staff from Sheffield solicitors, Taylor&Emmet LLP, have leant a paw to annual charity, Support Dogs, at this year’s Crufts.
The firm’s marketing team volunteered on the first day of the internationally renowned Kennel Club event to help raise awareness of Support Dogs’ work across the UK.
Taylor&Emmet’s Claire Fletcher and Jenni Arundale spent a day at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre manning the charity’s tombola, directing visitors wanting information to Support Dogs’ staff and bringing mascot, Murdoch, to life for fundraising photo opportunities.
Claire Fletcher, Taylor&Emmet’s head of marketing and communications, said: “It was a pleasure to be giving our time and effort to help raise valuable awareness of Support Dogs’ work at such a high profile event. Crufts attracts thousands of canine crazy visitors who were really interested in the charity and very generous with their donations. Jenni and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
Support Dogs supplies, trains and supports specialist assistance dogs to increase the independence and quality of life of people with various disabilities and medical conditions. Taylor&Emmet has pledged to support the organisation as part of its annual charity initiative and will be organising a series of fundraising events throughout the year.
