‘Ambitious’ Macclesfield IT firm targets £1.25m turnover following MBI
IT services provider Delta Comtech is looking to drive its next phase of growth following the completion of a management buy-in (MBI) deal.
The Macclesfield-based firm is targeting a turnover of £1.25m this year after seeing its sales director, Carl Enser, and operations director Ed Wright become joint owners alongside existing owners Geoff Barratt and Mike Orton.
In 2015, the business achieved 20% year-on-year growth as it passed the £1m sales mark.
Carl Enser commented: “This deal will build on the success of Delta Comtech to date.
“We all really believe in the business and its potential within the market.”
Delta Comtech was advised by Manchester law firm HRC Law during the transaction.
Speaking further, Carl commented: “HRC was able to provide clear and practical legal advice for us throughout the deal process with a firm focus on what was right for the business and us as owners.
“They were the perfect partner for us in this deal.”
Mark Traynor, a corporate partner at HRC Law, said the firm is always looking to work alongside growing businesses.
He said: “The impressive team at Delta Comtech is ambitious with their sights set on growth into other regions. We look forward to watching their progress.”
