Sky Betting & Gaming to create 20 new roles with £1m academy investment
Sky Betting & Gaming, the Leeds-based independent online gambling firm, has made a £1m investment in a commercial academy programme that will create 20 new roles.
The academy will place graduates in the SB&G’’s HR, finance, commercial, contact centre, trading, and fraud and risk teams.
The permanent roles offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package, with those in HR and finance resulting in a relevant professional qualification (CIPD/ACCA/CIMA).
This latest investment takes SB&G’s total support for the development of early career initiatives to £2.5m and the total number of graduate opportunities at the company to around 50.
The commercial academy is designed to offer university leavers and recent graduates commercial exposure and experience in the UK’s fourth largest online gambling company.
Rob Painter, Sky Betting & Gaming’s brand and HR director, said: “It is great news that our Commercial Academy is now open for applications. This intensive programme will help develop the attributes needed to thrive in a fast paced and growing technology business.”
