Squire Patton Boggs relocates to 6 Wellington Place in Leeds
Global law firm Squire Patton Boggs has moved into new premises at 6 Wellington Place in Leeds.
The firm, with a history of over 130 years in Yorkshire, is occupying 32,000 sq ft of office space over the top two floors in the landmark development in central Leeds.
John Alderton, managing partner of Squire Patton Boggs in Leeds, said: “We are delighted with our new office at 6 Wellington Place, which provides us with flexible, state-of-the art facilities; and a prestigious platform for the firm’s long term future in the city.
“In the coming weeks we are looking forward to welcoming clients and business contacts to our new office, which will provide a fantastic working environment for us all.”
Over 200 staff in Leeds and the firm’s client base in the region will now benefit from a raft of facilities, including a client suite, office working space designed to facilitate greater collaboration between teams, and a rooftop terrace.
There is artwork on the walls from renowned artists Julia Poulton and Chris Wood, and outside of the building there are views across a central square built around the listed Railway Lifting Tower, which dates back to the 1850s.
Squire Patton Boggs’ Leeds office services clients across Yorkshire, the UK, and increasingly from outside the UK, serving approximately one quarter of the public companies headquartered in Yorkshire and the North East.
The Leeds office is also the base for firm-wide services including IT, accounting and other back office functions.
