Employment law roadshow offers essential expert advice

HR directors, managers and business owners can bring their understanding of the latest employment law issues up to date thanks to a seminar from leading regional commercial law firm Aaron & Partners.

Aaron & Partners’ employment law roadshow will be hitting venues in Cheshire, Wirral, Shropshire and North Wales in May, providing an opportunity to learn from its highly regarded team, which is recommended by the two leading independent legal directories, The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

Helen Watson, Partner and Head of Employment Law at Aaron & Partners, said: “The seminar is designed to provide insight into key areas of employment law, including the National Living Wage, gender pay gap reporting, holiday pay, sickness and absence pay and working time and travel time, with updates on discrimination law and whistleblowing.”

Helen explained: “Our roadshow has become an annual event and has proved a really useful resource for attendees who are responsible for a workforce, bringing them quickly up to speed with the latest in employment law. We’ll be reviewing case law and legislation from the past 12 months as well as looking at what’s coming up in the year ahead, so the content of the event is completely current.”

Delegates will receive a full pack of notes also containing all presentations, as well as the opportunity to book a free half hour meeting with one of the firm’s employment law partners, to be taken before 30 June 2016.

The seminar will take place at Park Royal Hotel and starts at 9.00am for 9.30am, finishing with a hot buffet lunch and networking at 12.30pm. The cost is £75 plus VAT for the first delegate from each organisation, with further colleagues receiving a reduced place at £50 plus VAT. Independent HR consultants can register for £150 plus VAT.
