Clarke Willmott acts in PamPurredPets £6 million buyout
Pet store chain PamPurredPets has been acquired by competitor Pets Corner for £6 million, in a deal led by the corporate team in the Southampton office of Clarke Willmott LLP.
Pet retailer Pets Corner bought the entire shareholding of competitor business PamPurredPets which will add a further 51 stores to the holding company’s 110 stores, creating the second largest chain of pet stores in the UK.
Partner at Clarke Willmott and lead lawyer on the deal, Kelvin Balmont said: “It was great to be involved in this transaction which consolidates two leading market brands.”
The corporate team acting for PamPurredPets also included Partner Richard Swain, and Associate Emma Couch. Clarke Willmott’s commercial property department, in particular Senior Associate Mehar Patel and his team also worked on the deal.
