Double awards for Knight Frank

Knight Frank, the world’s foremost independent property advisor with 417 offices in 58 countries, has won two prestigious awards from a leading UK property magazine. Knight Frank is the Investment Agency Team and Office Agency Team of 2015 ahead, in each category, of six other major UK firms.

Patrick Matheson, partner, Office Agency & Tenant Representation at Knight Frank’s Newcastle office, says it’s an outstanding achievement. “We have a very strong and collaborative office agency team across the UK working out of 13 UK offices and I believe this award reflects the high standards we work to,” says Mr. Matheson.

Dickon Wood, partner, Capital Markets, who also works from the Newcastle office, says the award similarly reflects professionalism throughout the UK team.

“Newcastle plays a pivotal role in this. Last year saw a significant rise in investment volumes in the UK with the North East seeing the largest percentage increase. Knight Frank alone completed over 27 deals totalling over £180 million in the North East, including the largest single sale asset in the region which was a Sainsbury`s Foodstore in Heaton that sold for £44.5 million,” says Mr. Wood.
