SSB Law launches new financial services division
SHEFFIELD legal firm SSB Law is expanding with the launch of a new financial services division.
SSB Financial is offering a comprehensive range of financial support services for clients.
“If you are already working with our legal team on areas such as wills, power of attorney, retirement projects or inheritance planning then it makes perfect sense that we should be able to provide everything round one table,” said SSB partner Jeremy Brooke.
“We realised that clients would come in to give us instructions on something like a will and that we would then have to pass them on to somebody else to check their finances.
“It seemed to me a completely natural progression to launch this new branch of SSB because we already have a relationship with our clients who are trusting us with their legal matters so to look after their financial interests is the next logical step.”
SSB Financial, based at the company’s head office at 43 Townhead Street, Sheffield, is being headed by certified financial planner Laura Atkins.
“It is very much a one stop shop approach, aimed at easing the complexity of family finances, which are inevitably tied up with legal issues,” said Jeremy.
“And as with SSB Law, we aim to make everything clear by providing simple and straightforward financial advice that doesn’t cost the earth.
“When you have a complex problem, we have the expertise to help - and when it’s simple, we’ll say so!”
