Audenshaw's Stud Extract builds new warehouse with six-figure funding
Wheel hub maintenance firm Stud Extract has built a new warehouse at its Greater Manchester headquarters.
Audenshaw-based Stud Extract’s new facility, constructed with six-figure funding from NatWest, will allow the firm to improve its operating efficiency by housing its wheel hubs on site.
Founded three years ago, Stud Extract provides hub maintenance services for buses, vans, lorries and other heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), including repairs for leaking hubs, broken hub removal, spline grinding and metal spraying.
Simon Blair, who runs the business alongside his associate, Colin Blair, commented: “By having more stock on site and in our premises we will be able to offer a better service to our customers.
“As a business we continue to grow so having a bigger base will mean we have the flexibility to expand further in the future.”
To obtain the funding for the new warehouse, the pair turned to Paul Mak, a business development manager with NatWest, for support.
Colin said: “Paul has been absolute dream to work with. He is very efficient and finds solutions that we can depend on.”
Discussing the decision to provide Stud Extract with funding, business development manager Paul said he was delighted to offer the company support.
He added: “It’s a great business which has seen solid growth over the last few years and I wish it every success for the future.”
