McHale and Co recruit litigation lawyer Adam Cohen

Adam Cohen has joined the commercial litigation department at law firm McHale & Co.

Adam, 44, joins McHale and Co having spent two years at RHF Solicitors in Manchester city centre.

Adam is from Manchester and qualified as a solicitor after studying at the Open University and Manchester Metroplitan University whilst in full time employment.

At McHale, he will be working in commercial litigation and helping with individual debt problems in particular assisting those clients that are being pursued by debt agencies.

Adam said: “I came to law late and only started studying in my 30s.

“I have always been interested in the law and felt my business skills would be ideally suited.

“I will be working in commercial litigation, dealing with company debt and individual debt.

“I have a lot of patience and want to help people with their debt problems, and find the best solution for them.”

Before qualifying as a lawyer, Adam held various roles including the international managing director for MinorPlanet, a job that took him to Australia, the USA and Europe.

He added: “I have worked all over the world and love travelling, but Manchester is my home and I am delighted to be working here.”

Adam is an FA qualified football referee and has run a number of marathons including in New York, London, Los Angeles and Sydney.

He is also a season ticket holder at Manchester United.

McHale and Co have has offices in Altrincham, Stretford and Heywood and has recently celebrated being established for 15 years.
