Sublime Skinz appoints new Head of UK Publishers
Leading skin-based advertising specialist, Sublime Skinz, has today announced the appointment of Shez Iqbal as Head of UK Publishers. Iqbal’s extensive experience will bolster the team and further strengthen publisher relationships in the region.
Sublime Skinz is the industry leader in the distribution and optimisation of skin-based advertising through programmatic and direct channels. Its technology enables brands to display prominent and engaging ads, and publishers to effectively monetise their sites while enhancing the user experience. Founded in Paris in 2012, the company is extending its reach into Europe and the US with offices in London, New York, and San Francisco.
Of the 3,000+ high quality websites Sublime Skinz works with globally, 750 are UK based. Iqbal has been appointed to forge lasting relationships with new publishers in the UK and Ireland, and strengthen partnerships with existing clients. This will enable the expansion of Sublime Skinz’s network of websites – growing the number of consumers that can be reached, increasing opportunities for advertisers, and maximising revenues for publishers.
Prior to joining Sublime Skinz, Iqbal held senior positions at Outbrain, LiveIntent, and Talkbe, working on platform development, growth strategy, and business development. Combined with an in-depth understanding of publisher business models from his experience with News UK, Guardian News and Media, and Euromoney, Iqbal can empathise with the problems publishers are currently facing when tasked with driving revenues while maintaining a positive user experience.
Commenting on his appointment, Shez Iqbal, said: “I’m thrilled to be joining a leading ad tech company with a great platform and exciting products in the pipeline. I am looking forward to helping Sublime Skinz meet its clear objectives of supporting publisher revenues and leading the way in high-impact advertising innovations. The decision to join Sublime Skinz was easy – they are large enough to make a difference and young enough to be agile.”
Lisa Menaldo, Managing Director, UK said: “With his vast experience in digital media, deep understanding of the media landscape, and unrivalled skills in building rapport with clients, Shez is perfectly placed to strengthen our relationships with publishers in the UK. Our publisher network is at the heart of our business, and so we are delighted to welcome Shez on board and look forward to him becoming a valuable member of the team.”
