Leeds Beckett University re-appoints Delete

Leeds Beckett University has today annouced it has re-appointed digital agency Delete as its digital partner.

The agreement will see the digital agency, which has offices in London and Leeds, work in collaboration with Leeds Beckett to further develop its wider digital offering, following the transformation of the main University website and online prospectus.

The contract, which extends an existing four year relationship for a minimum of two years, will see both parties working together to develop the user experience for prospective, current and past students with a focus on delivering personalised and relevant experiences across all digital touchpoints. In addition, Delete will continue to support the University’s in-house digital team, overseeing the transition of all University microsites to the Sitecore customer experience platform.

James Carrington, Chief Technology Officer, Delete said: “Working with Leeds Beckett over the last four years has involved implementing a strategy centred on providing a best in class user experience powered by Sitecore’s experience platform. With a view towards empowering the University with an even richer customer experience database; the next phase of work will involve the integration of more communication and customer touch points into Sitecore, enabling us to better predict customer needs, provide more valuable and rewarding experiences, and ultimately continue to deliver return on investment for the University.”

Deborah Green, Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications, Leeds Beckett University added: “Four years ago we set out our vision for a seamless digital customer experience for our stakeholders which truly put users at the heart. Our digital strategy recognised that change is now a constant feature, both in terms of human behaviour and technology and foresaw the fact that mobile would overtake desktop internet access and that we would have to be ready to accommodate this. Working in partnership with Delete, we have created a website which delivers engaging content seamlessly cross-platform without degrading the user experience. We use context as well as content to deliver a personalised experience. We are proud of the customer-centric digital experience we have created and we look forward to working with Delete on the next exciting stage of our digital strategy.”
