Russell Richardson announce second site in Sheffield
Russell Richardson, Sheffield’s document management and recycling experts are expanding their archiving division to a second site in the city.
After launching an archiving and records management division less than one year ago, Russell Richardson have already outgrown the original archive store at their Attercliffe site, prompting the decision to invest in a second unit in the Waleswood area of the city.
“We’ve been thrilled with the way the archiving side of our business has taken off,” said Jonathan Richardson, managing director at Russell Richardson. “We’ve been shredding and recycling confidential waste in Sheffield for almost 40 years and have built our reputation locally as a company our customers can trust with their documents. Moving in to archiving and records management was a natural development and has made us a one stop shop for all our customers’ document solutions. Investing in a second site allows us to have a secure facility dedicated to storage and a separate one for destruction, both close by to each other in Sheffield.”
Russell Richardson’s new archiving and storage facility will increase their capacity by up to 25,000 archive boxes and follows the company’s recent investment in the O’Neil records management system. Regarded as the industry pioneer for barcode tracking, the O’Neil software and bespoke Russell Richardson customer portal allows customers retain control over their records.
“It was important for us to find the right site to expand our archive store,” continued Jonathan. “We are now in the final stages of upgrading the security to our standards and hope to have the facility fully functional for June.”
