Build it and they shall come!.....

“Build it and they shall come” was the line I remember most from the film Field of Dreams, and referred to the building of a baseball stadium for ghosts of baseball legends past!

However, I never realised the relevance of those words until I launched my most recent business in Manchester just 12 months ago! In March 2015, I’d just left my last business, taken a well earned holiday in Dominican Republic and returned to launch my most recent business.

I nervously ran the Facebook Ad, advising my followers, the friends and associates as to where I would be dining on Friday 13th May 2015 and invite people to join me for the launch of my new business! I hoped there was sufficient intrigue and interest for people to join me and learn about the launch. Alice Jackson of Madson Interim Solutions was of great help in supporting this event by means of communicating with the amount of enquiries and bookings, and on that afternoon 37 business owners joined me for the launch of My TrueNORTH - The Ethical Coaching Company.

We’ve just celebrated our first year of trading here in Manchester, and life really couldn’t get much better. I took on my first member of staff within 5 weeks of launching the business, another 3 weeks later and a third 7 weeks after that. Whilst our ‘Head office’ remains based in York (for now) we have established a firm base in Greater Manchester, Northampton and Belfast, with plans to make it into the ‘big smoke’ (London) early next year.

Our clients range from SME to PLC, from both product and service based businesses and both digital and traditional offerings. We have 4 main offerings, although bespoke alot of our packages with a pick n mix style menu dependant on each individual business owners requirements.

Mountain Summit Seeker is our Elite package and for just 14 Business Owners the ultimate in Mastermind Retreat. We all meet once per quarter in a great inspiring venue, and over the course of 2.5 days work exclusively on the transformational growth of each others businesses. With world class speakers presenting masterclasses at each event, and 2 highly experienced and award winning business coaches to facilitate each meet, these really are ‘game changers’ for those looking to take 7 figures to 8 figure turnovers.

Our lead up package is Explorer Mastermind and is predominantly for business owners looking to take 6 figure turnover to 7 figure turnover and have the drive and desire to work collectively with others to achieve significant and sustainable growth. We already have 2 Explorer Mastermind Groups running successfully (1 in N.Ireland, the other in Northampton) and launch our 3rd Mastermind Group in Greater Manchester later this month. We already run 2 of these groups in Manchester, and have others in Belfast, Leeds, Telford and Northampton. However, owing to such a great take up, have just launched a 3rd group in Manchester!

55 weeks trading and were approx 11 months ahead of our own projected targets for growth, and have seen this reflected in our clients also, with recent email testimonials advising:

Were just putting the final touches to the next big project for business support and development with plans to launch in the next couple of months. I’m going to make a point of watching Field of dreams again sometime soon, but it is true, you do have to build it, and they will come.
