AGR Conference unveils line-up with Ed Byrne

The Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) has announced the speakers and programme for its annual recruitment conference.

The Recruitment Revolution will take place Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 June 2016 at Manchester Central Convention Complex.

The three-day event will see some of the UK’s leading recruitment gurus inspire delegates alongside Britain’s greatest Paralympic athlete, Tanni Grey-Thompson. Stand-up comedian Ed Byrne will host the AGR Student Recruitment Awards dinner.

Keynote speakers include Nigel Jeremy, Chief Learning Officer at British Airways, a globally recognised HR expert who will deliver practical advice from his experience with brands such as M&S, HBOS and EasyJet

He will be joined by Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Manchester and co-Chair of the Prime Minister’s Council for Science and Technology.

Saj Jetha, economist and Managing Director of the The Smarty Train, which specialises in advising employers, universities and government on early talent strategies, also joins the line-up.

Claudia Harris, CEO at The Careers and Enterprise Company and Dr Louise Ashley, Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at Royal Holloway, University of London have been confirmed as plenary speakers

As well as networking opportunities there will be 30 breakout sessions run by universities, employers and suppliers of the sector. Case studies from brands such as Asda, Citi and Network Rail will cover key themes from emerging talent and student choices to globalised recruitment and diversity.
