Online recruitment firm secures £350k investment to drive growth plans

Talendrone, the London and Leeds-based online recruitment firm, is aiming to sign up 10,000 UK recruiters after securing a £350k investment from Finance Yorkshire.

The company, which specialises in recruitment in the IT sector, was founded by IT specialist and entrepreneur Aman Sood in 2015.

With access to over 5 million candidates nationwide, Talendrone can find candidates suitable for any IT vacancy using recruiters across the world and post jobs on over 100 of the UK’s top job boards.

For employers, the service provided by Talendrone allows them to leverage thousands of specialist recruiters to hire new IT staff and to choose the level of commission they want to pay.

All IT staff hiring can be done in one place and on one system. With the company’s Platinum package, there are no monthly retainer fees to pay and no commission paid until they hire a suitable candidate.

Recruiters both freelance and agency based can upload CVs to the site, and with 3200 recruiters already on board, Aman is planning to get 10,000 UK recruiters signed up in the next few months.

Aman explained: “As technology has advanced, the other recruitment technology companies are automating everything to reduce the dependency on recruiters. We are different. We believe that the recruiter community (which consists of hundreds of thousands of recruiters) still has lot of value to offer in quickly hiring the best candidates.

“We have a great platform, but we won’t stop there, we’ll continue to improve the system using the latest developments to keep clients and recruiters delighted.

“We want to provide recruiters the opportunity to work flexible hours to suit their own individual lifestyle but still give them the opportunity to earn good money.

As for the £350k investment, he said: “The investment from Finance Yorkshire endorses the potential growth for the business, and I aim to ensure that we pull out all the stops to make the company even more of a success than it already is.

“We have ambitious plans to grow and develop into some exciting new areas to make sure we keep up to date with all the latest technological advances.”
