Lucy climbs the career ladder with leading housebuilder

An ambitious young woman is celebrating after being promoted to field sales manager with a leading housebuilder. Lucy Woodhall joined Persimmon Homes five years ago and has quickly moved up the career ladder.

The 23-year old from Norwich discovered her passion for property sales at just 19 when she joined the company as an apprentice. She then progressed from trainee sales advisor to fully-fledged sales advisor two years ago. Now based at Persimmon Homes Anglia’s head office in Lowestoft, Lucy looks after a range of development sites across Norfolk and Suffolk. Lucy said: “I am really grateful to Persimmon Homes for the opportunity to progress within the company, and I am proud of what I have achieved so far. “I was keen to further my career, and this new role will allow me to support and train new sales advisors and hopefully pass on my knowledge and experience as well as looking after a range of developments. “Since starting as an apprentice, Persimmon has given me the perfect stepping stone for carving out my career within the housing industry and I’d definitely recommend young people to apply when considering their career options.” Speaking of Lucy’s promotion, Andrew Fuller, managing director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, said: “We are pleased to see Lucy’s career progression with Persimmon Homes; she has a passion for the industry and is always striving to better herself. “These attributes make her an ideal candidate for a field sales manager, and we wish her the best in her new role.” During her first year with Persimmon Homes, Lucy studied an NVQ in business and administration at Lowestoft College, where she won an outstanding achievement award. She was also recognised in Persimmon’s own nationwide Young Achievers Awards in 2015, being named as runner-up for the Duncan Davidson award which celebrates the young employee who makes the most outstanding contribution to the company.
