McHale and Co team tackles Three Peaks
A team from a solicitors’ firm is taking on a Three Peaks Challenge for St Ann’s Hospice.
The nine-strong group from McHale & Co in Altrincham will tackle Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and finally Snowdon in Wales this weekend.
The group will set off from the office on High Street on Friday morning [JULY 1] and aim to complete the challenge in under 24 hours.
They hope to raise £1,000 for St Ann’s Hospice, which has sites in Stockport, Salford and at Wythenshawe Hospital.
In May, McHale runners at the Manchester 10k raised £1,200 to help send Altrincham athlete Sam Clarke to the European Transplant Games in Helsinki.
Solicitor Adam Horner, who is taking part in this weekend’s challenge, said: “St Ann’s a cause close to our hearts as almost everyone at McHale knows someone who has been helped by St Ann’s.
“We have been in training for this for months and a few of us took part in the Manchester 10k as part of the preparations.”
