North East company to sparkle in the south
A LEADING North East creative agency is set to sparkle in the south, after opening an office in London’s famous diamond district.
Keltie Cochrane, based at the Toffee Factory at Ouseburn, Newcastle is about to open a second office at Hatton Garden to cope with the demand from its clients in the capital and South East.
The company was set up by Ian Keltie and Jason Cochrane when they both worked in London for the BBC , but returned to the region to launch their own business in 2007, focusing on offering creative design, illustration and web services for a range of clients in both the UK and USA.
Contracts won included working with LucasFilm to produce a range of book covers for the Star Wars franchise, several TV and movie marketing campaigns as well as projects for clients in New York and LA.
Along with their US work, Keltie Cochrane has worked extensively with corporate organisations and local authorities across the North East, at the same time expanding its range of services to include animation and video, infographics, marketing and advertising.
“The time is definitely right for us to open an office in London,” said Jason. “We will still be operating from the North East but it’s also a very good time as we continue to win more and more work, to be able to have an office which can service our clients in the south.”
The company has worked with international brands such as McDonalds to TFE Wines in California as well as carrying out projects for the BBC, the NHS and even The Wall Street Journal.
In the North East Keltie Cochrane has created campaigns and artwork for organisations including Shepherd Group Engineering, Newcastle College, Utilitywise PLC, Adderstone Group and Newcastle Science Central to name but a few.
“We are very pleased that we have been able to make such a huge impact on the regional, national and international market,” said Jason.
“And this new opening will help us consolidate our business even further.”
