Digital Element improves Monetizer's mobile targeting accuracy

Digital Element, the leading IP geolocation technology company, today announces that global traffic monetisation company, Monetizer, has chosen its NetAcuity Pulse solution to more accurately target mobile and web traffic for publishers.

Monetizer works with advertisers and publishers to maximise earnings from its clients’ mobile and web inventory by connecting publishers with advertisers, and targeting consumers who are most likely to engage with their content. Incorporating Digital Element’s NetAcuity Pulse technology into its platform will empower the company to target consumers at a more granular level, identifying key details such as the user’s mobile network or internet provider, connection type, and connection speed, to optimise advertising delivery and minimize the risk of making incorrect routing decisions.

“It is vital we utilise the most accurate targeting capabilities available to us to remain competitive in our field,” explained Franz Kanehl, managing partner, Monetizer. “Digital Element’s technology is used by some of the world’s largest companies and offers us the high level of accuracy we require to stay ahead of our competition. By regularly reviewing its data, the company provides us with the must up-to-date and trustworthy insights, boosting our ability to correctly detect users’ locations and deliver highly-relevant content on behalf of our clients.”

Digital Element’s NetAcuity Pulse uses a network of IP location information derived from mobile devices, billions of on-device-location transactions, and internet routing infrastructure. This more precise – yet privacy-sensitive – global online targeting method is based on where a user is located and connected at a specific point in time, regardless of device. Information can include whether or not the connection is being made through a wifi network, the user’s point-in-time geographic location, and if a home or business connection is in use. The benefits of using wifi targeting include increased revenues, better return on investment, stronger brand loyalty, and improved consumer engagement.

“Monetizer relies on granular targeting capabilities to be able to increase revenue and drive engagement for its clients,” added Kate Owen, vice president, Northern Europe, Digital Element. “Using our granular and reliable data empowers Monetizer to remain one step ahead of its competitors in offering the most valuable monetisation service to clients that span the globe. We are excited to see how this partnership will improve results for Monetizer and further grow its platform.”

Monetizer joins Digital Element’s portfolio of high-profile clients which includes: Microsoft, Weborama, Vibrant Media, MediaMath, Crimtan, Adform, Infectious Media, Webtrekk, Nielsen, The Ströer Group, InSkin Media, AOL’s ADTECH, Voluum.com, and Cxense.
