Last traditional ‘wet-led’ pub in Notting Hill comes to market
Notting Hill’s last traditional wet-led pub, The Uxbridge Arms, has come to market in West London.
Located on Uxbridge Road, the pub is being marketed by London-based leisure property firm Fleurets with a leasehold available in the region of £180k.
It is billed as one of the last ‘wet-led’ establishments in the area, industry parlance for a pub that makes its money from drinks and beverages, over culinary options which have become more prevalent in recent years.
Housed within a traditional mid-terraced building, the property consists of a traditional single room bar along with a two bedroom manager’s flat and sits 150m away from Notting Hill Gate Tube Station.
Andy Frisby from Fleurets commented: “The Uxbridge Arms is almost the last traditional wet-led style pub in Notting Hill, and therefore presents a superb opportunity to capitalise on the demand for a niche product in an affluent area.”
Wet-led, beverage-focused pubs have endured a significant decline in recent years as more pubs expand their food options in response to rising alcohol prices and changing consumer tastes.
