Legal Technology Firm granted 2016’s Technology Elite award

DPS Software, based in Enfield, have recently been granted the 2016 Technology Elite award by TMT News, in recognition of its innovative products and rich experience in the legal market.

During the last three decades, the legal technology company has become the largest legal cloud provider in the UK, and the country’s only legal technology provider to be ISO 27001:2013 accredited at a company level (the ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised best practice framework for an information security system). The company has also grown rapidly in the last 4 years, counting over 60 staff, and hiring, on average, 1 new employee a month.

This success is owed to their constant drive to innovate and develop new products. The legal software house has recently launched a new family of products specifically designed for the solicitor who wants to work on the go. Remote working is increasingly becoming common practice among legal professionals and therefore, the demand for secure, mobile applications and web-based software solutions is increasing. DPS have responded to this trend by developing mobile apps for remote time recording and secure one-to-one messaging. These are complemented by DPS’s new cloud-based practice management software which allows solicitors to work on their files from any location, straight from their Internet browser.

DPS’s success has been acknowledged numerous times. The company has been nominated for the Practice Growth Awards at Legalex 2016 for its contribution to its clients’ growth and development and for the Cloudex Awards in October 2015 for its market-leading legal cloud solution, dpscloud.
