New Sheffield nightspot to create 50 jobs with £850k investment
The Deltic Group, the operator of late night bars and clubs, is investing £850k to open its third Bar & Beyond venue on Sheffield’s West Street.
The six-week refurbishment will create 50 full and part time jobs.
With a capacity of 665, the new venue will open on Friday 16th September 2016.
Shoreditch-inspired Bar & Beyond will feature walls of graffiti art, skull imagery and modern sculptures.
Bar & Beyond Sheffield will be open from 5pm seven days a week. In the early evening, the venue will serve up a range of burgers, dogs and sharing platters. Its food offer will be paired with a range of drinks, from craft ales to freshly prepared cocktails.
Later on in the evening, the bar transforms into a club providing high energy entertainment until the early hours.
David Burgess, new general manager, said: “I’m really excited to be bringing Bar & Beyond to my home town.
“It’s a unique concept that gives customers the choice between a fun evening with food and a wide choice of drinks, or to stay out and party the night away. There’s nothing like it in Sheffield and I’m confident it will be a massive hit.”
In preparation for its launch, the club is recruiting for a variety of roles including front of house, bar teams and hosts.
David added: “We’re looking for talented people with a passion for customer service. Bar & Beyond is all about creating a fantastic night out and we want to build a team that does just that.”
