Future Bright For Koobr With New Marketing ‘Superstar’

After an extremely successful three years with continual growth, Derby-based Koobr has appointed a new digital marketing manager.

Due to the increase in demand for digital marketing services, the creative agency — also specialising in branding, graphic design and web design has recently appointed marketing superstar Jaide Spencer.

Jaide brings with her a wealth of experience within the industry, stretching seven years, and was offered the position due to her creativity and success in the industry, which includes securing exclusive events with Swarovski at previous employer Beads Direct and four years at Derby-based firm, Brooks Digital Marketing.

Jaide was strongly recommended to Craig Barker, Managing Director at Koobr, by a trusted business contact, Donna Batchelor of Batchelor Pads Lettings, located on Friar Gate, Derby.

Craig said: “I’ve known Donna for a while now and trusted her judgment on this. When she heard that Koobr was looking for somebody to take our marketing services a step beyond, she instantly thought that Jaide would make a great asset to the team.”

The addition of Jaide, now brings the Koobr team to eight full-time members of staff.

Craig said: “We were really impressed with Jaide’s enthusiasm and marketing skill-set from the beginning. She has already proved herself to be an invaluable asset to our growing team.”

“Digital marketing is a growing area of our business, as more and more companies are utilising the benefits that online platforms provide to promote services and communicate with customers.”

“Therefore, Jaide’s appointment further strengthens Koobr’s position as one of Derby’s leading creative agencies, whilst bringing new skills to the table.”

Jade said: “Working in such a forward thinking, fast paced and creative environment is a real breath of fresh air. Koobr are doing some fantastic things right now, and it feels great to be a part of it all”

The expanding firm is also going to be recruiting a new web developer to facilitate the current demand for a strong online presence – further increasing the staff count total to nine.

Craig added: “This is an exciting time for Koobr, we tend to work with our customers for the long term, truly getting to know their business, becoming a virtual part of their team. Many of our customers just see us as their marketing department.”
