Financial Services specialist joins speakers at CISI conference

Pensions, innovation, opportunities and risks will be spotlighted in a high-powered financial technology conference being held at Celtic Manor in Newport in October.

Philippa Hann, a Partner from Clarke Willmott LLP’s Bristol Office is to speak at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Financial Planning Annual Conference from October 3-5.

Financial services law specialist Philippa will cover Risks and Opportunities in FinTech.

Philippa said: “I am looking forward to having the opportunity to speak at this important gathering of practitioners and offering my insights on why innovation matters, where the opportunities lie and what the risks are.”

She joins other keynote speakers including Steve Webb, Former Minister of State for Pensions and Director of Policy and External Communications, Royal London, who will be presenting ‘The emerging Pensions Regulatory Landscape.’

The programme includes more than 40 speakers, providing a mix of dynamic talks and ‘pick and mix’ optional sessions targeted towards Financial Planners, Paraplanners, Financial Advisers and Wealth Managers.

Philippa is a Partner in the Financial Services Litigation team specialising in investment product mis-selling claims and negligent investment advice. She has particular experience in running group actions on behalf of large numbers of claimants. Philippa holds the Certificate in Financial Planning and the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Philippa joined Clarke Willmott in 2006 from HBJ Gateley Wareing (now Gateley) where she specialised in general commercial dispute resolution.
