Galliford Try appointed to North West housing frameworks worth £650m
Galliford Try Partnerships has secured a place on two North West affordable housing contracting frameworks worth around £650m over the next four years.
The regeneration company, which has its regional base of operations in Warrington, has won a place on the Cutting Edge framework.
Launched in 2011, the framework has so far delivered over 5,000 homes and operates on behalf of seven North West housing associations – The Riverside Group, Regenda, Progress Housing Group, Together Housing Group, Sovini, Wirral Partnership Homes and Symphony Housing Group.
Additionally, Galliford Try has been appointed to the Innovation Chain North West (ICNW) framework, which was established in 2012 and has since created over 4,000 new homes.
Between 2016 and 2020, ICNW will deliver £500m worth of housing stock for 30 of the region’s housing associations, including Great Places Housing Group.
The development director at Galliford Try Partnerships North West, Darren Leary, said: “We are delighted to have secured a place on these two major frameworks with the leading Registered Providers in the North West.
“Delivering through these frameworks is a key element in our growth strategy.”
He continued: “As well as allowing us to develop our relationships with housing association partners and help build sustainable communities, securing these opportunities crucially gives us the platform to further accelerate our mixed tenure offer throughout the region.”
